## Our Editorial Standards

ANN is committed to accuracy, fairness, and independence in every story we publish.

**Sourcing:** We attribute claims to named, on-the-record sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used only when necessary and are vetted by an editor before publication.

**Corrections:** When we make a factual error, we correct it publicly and note the correction at the bottom of the article (see our Corrections Policy).

**Independence:** Our newsroom operates independently of advertisers, sponsors, and any political party or affiliated organization.
